Prof. Isabel Maria da Cunha Rosa Fernandes

Isabel Maria da Cunha Rosa Fernandes (PhD – 1988; Habilitation – 2007) is Full Professor at the Department of English Studies, Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon. She is the Director and Scientific Coordinator of CEAUL / ULICES – University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies (a R&D unit awarded a classification of Excellent) since 2009. She also created and coordinates the international and interdisciplinary Programme on Narrative and Medicine since 2009. She has published extensively in the fields of her expertise, namely, English Literature, Narratology, Inter-art Studies and, more recently, Narrative Medicine.
